Use only connecting
cables that are dry
and free of damage.
When the ignition is
switched off, make
sure that the 115 V power socket is dry.
Immediately have the 115
V power
socket checked or replaced at a qualified
specialized workshop if it is damaged
or has been pulled out of the trim.
Never plug the connecting
cable into a
115 V power socket that is damaged or
has been pulled out of the trim.

You could receive an electric shock in particular:
Do not reach into the
socket.
Only connect suitable
devices to the
socket.
When the 115 V power socket is not in use, keep the flap closed.
Requirements:
Open flap

Insert the plug of the device
into 115 V
socket
.
When the on-board electrical system voltage
is sufficient, indicator lamp
lights up.
USB port in the rear passenger compartment
You can charge a USB device, such as a mobile phone, at the USB ports using a suitable charging cable.
The devices can be charged with 5 V (up to 3 A) and when the ignition is switched on.
