Mercedes-Benz GLC : Data storage / Data protection rights
Depending on your country or the equipment
and range of functions of your vehicle as well as
the services you use and the services on offer,
you are entitled to different data protection
rights. Further information on data protection
and your data protection rights can either be
found on the manufacturer's website or you will
receive this information as part of the various
services and service offers. There you will also
find the contact information for the manufacturer
and its data protection officers.
At a workshop, for example, with the support of
a specialist and possibly for a fee, you can have
data read out which is stored only locally in the
vehicle.
If you use online services from other providers
(third parties), these services are the responsibility
of the provider in question and subject to
that provider's data protection conditions and
terms of use...
If the vehicle is equipped with the MBUX multimedia
system or Mercedes me connect, additional
data about the vehicle's operation, the use
of the vehicle in certain situations, and the location
of the vehicle may be compiled by the MBUX multimedia system or Mercedes me
connect...
Other information:
Some systems will perform a self-test when the
ignition is switched on. Some indicator and
warning lamps may briefly light up or flash. This
behavior is non-critical. These indicator and
warning lamps indicate a malfunction only if they
light up or flash after the engine has been started
or during a journey...
Your vehicle is equipped with the Mercedes-Benz
emergency call system ("eCall"). This feature can
help save lives in the event of an accident. eCall
in no way replaces assistance provided from
dialing 911.
Mercedes-Benz eCall only functions in areas
where mobile phone coverage is available from
the wireless service providers...
