Mercedes-Benz GLC : Driving / Notes on optimized acceleration
If all necessary requirements and activation conditions
are fulfilled, the best possible acceleration
can be achieved from a standstill.
Do not use the optimized acceleration on public
roads. Individual wheels could spin and you
could lose control of the vehicle. There is an
increased risk of skidding and/or accident.
Be sure to observe the safety notes and information
on ESP®.
To preserve the engine during the first
1000 miles (1500 km):
Drive at varying road speeds and engine
speeds.
Do not drive at speeds greater than 85 mph
(140 km/h)...
WARNING Risk of skidding and having
an accident from wheels spinning
When you use optimized acceleration, individual
wheels could spin and you could lose
control of the vehicle...
Other information:
Active Parking Assist is an electronic parking
assistance system, which uses ultrasound with

up to approximately 22 mph (35 km/h),
the system automatically measures parking
spaces on both sides of the vehicle...
Vehicles with a lithium-ion battery
When charging the battery and during starting
assistance, always use the jump-start connection
point in the engine compartment.
NOTE Damage to the battery from overvoltage
When charging using a battery charger without
a maximum charging voltage, the battery
or the on-board electronics may be damaged...
